and structured techniques needed to become an effective business

on a realistic case study to ensure a thorough appreciation of the
subject matter
- Business Analysis
This is an up-to-date practical approach to Business Analysis
course and will give you a comprehensive overview of Business
Analysis and how to apply each of the topics covered.
The Business Analyst provides a central role in
establishing a clear understanding of the areas under change within
the business. Business analysts contribute by analyzing the
business objectives, processes and resources and suggest these can
be addressed effectively through re-design, improvements and
refinements or through the creation of new solutions.
The successful Business Analyst will integrate
hard (e.g. business process modeling, working in Agile
environments) and soft (e.g. business knowledge, stakeholder
analysis and management) skills. Business Analysts are therefore
responsible for identifying change needs, assessing the impact of
the change, capturing and documenting requirements.
- Project Management Fundamentals
Much of what we undertake in modern business is about achieving
objectives on time, within cost and to an acceptable level of
quality. The most effective project managers have a thorough
understanding of how they deliver results on time whilst under
pressure from all sides.
The basics of this are the same whether the project manager is
managing his own activity or the tasks of others. A basic level of
project management skill is essential to anyone required to
complete complex tasks on time with limited resources.
- Contract Bid Response

steps that must be taken on receipt of a bid of any size, the

It also examines how to document the progress
of a bid with future potential liabilities in view, including
shareholder information, legal aspects and the financial and
regulatory risk analyses that now go hand in hand with any
substantial venture.
